Citi in Hong Kong is seeking a Director, Product Developer in Equities to shape the risk management architecture for the desk. You will lead end-to-end design, partner with trading, quantitative research, and technology teams to deliver scalable solutions that drive revenue and manage risk across trading products.

The role requires deep front-office experience, 8+ years in derivatives/algorithmic trading, strong programming skills (Python, C++, Java) and fluency with SQL.

Qualifications

• Extensive (8+ years) experience in Derivatives Trading and platform development.
• Proficient in Python, C++, Java and SQL for risk management and low-latency systems.
• Ability to work with senior leaders and cross-functional teams in a major bank.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development and design of the Equities Risk Management Architecture.
• Manage full product development lifecycle with BRDs and business cases.
• Define roadmaps, align with business objectives and market trends.
• Collaborate with trading desks, tech, sales, and global users.
• Ensure governance, security reviews, and controls testing/documentation.
