Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Hong Kong seeks a senior Trader to oversee a trading book, manage risk and drive revenues in coordination with the Trading team.

The role requires deep knowledge of markets, strong relationship skills with Sales, Research and other desks, and the ability to uphold governance and control standards across the firm. You will work closely with risk, legal, compliance and finance teams to ensure responsible trading, regulatory adherence and robust governance while seeking

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 6-10 years of experience in a related role.
• Knowledge of respective products and clients.
• Advance analytical and numerical competency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a trading book and generate revenues and manage risk.
• Coordinate with Sales, Research, CM and other organizations across Markets and Securities Services and the broader business.
• Trade a book and deliver on budgeted revenues and manage book risk.
• Establish and maintain key relationships to deliver trades to the desk.
• Anticipate client demand in each respective product/market.
• Coordinate with desk analysts and sales to develop the franchise.
• Lead governance and controls with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Audit and Finance.
• Build a culture of responsible finance and ethics.
• Assess risk/reward of transactions with regard to the firm’s reputation.
