Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Trader to oversee a trading book, manage risk, and drive revenue in coordination with the Trading team.

You will work with Sales, Research, and Compliance to uphold governance and build the franchise, ensuring trades meet budgeted targets while maintaining strong controls and regulatory compliance.

The role requires deep product knowledge, Bloomberg proficiency, and the ability to forge durable relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/university degree or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a trading book and generate revenues while managing risk.
• Coordinate with Sales, Research, and other functions across Markets and Securities Services.
• Trade the book and deliver on budgeted revenues while maintaining risk controls.
• Establish relationships to deliver trades to the desk and anticipate client demand.
• Partner with desk analysts and Sales to develop the franchise with strong governance and controls.
• Adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and risk management policies.
