Job summary

CLSA is seeking an experienced professional to manage and execute electronic trading orders and lead sales and marketing of its global electronic trading and index products. You will maximize revenues by leveraging the electronic platform and building strong client relationships in a high-pressure environment.

The role requires a degree in Finance or Economics, up to 10 years’ experience in equity trading, and excellent English communication with Mandarin/Cantonese preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Finance, Economics or related discipline.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under time pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute electronic trading clients’ orders and contribute to sales and marketing of electronic trading products.
• Prepare market updates for clients and team members.
• Support day-to-day electronic trading platform processes with the team.
• Distribute research and trading colour to clients to aid decision making.
• Conduct pre/post-trade analysis and discuss execution strategies with clients.
• Identify revenue opportunities within the existing client base.
• Collaborate with Quant and Development teams on platform projects.
• Respond to client requests promptly and professionally.

Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing electronic trading clients’ orders, as well as sales and marketing of the Company’s global electronic trading and index products. To maximizing revenues leveraging the Company electronic platform.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• First point of call for clients electronic trades and build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
• Prepare updates on news and market events for clients and team members
• Support the electronic trading team on day to day process
• Distribute appropriate Research and Trading colour to clients
• Prepare pre and post trade analysis of electronic trades and discuss with clients to determine optimal execution and trading strategy
• Identify revenue opportunities within existing client base
• Work with Quant and Development team on Electronic Trading Platform projects
• Handle with client requests

Requirements

• Degree holder in Finance, Economics or related discipline
• Up to 10 years of working experience in equity trading related role
• Keen Interest in Global financial markets and products
• Detail orientated and able to handle multiple tasks under time pressure
• Able to work in a high stress environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of written and spoken English, with Mandarin/Cantonese language skills preferred but not essential
