Job summary

Futu Securities in Hong Kong seeks an experienced trading-focused client service professional to support short-term trading activities and complex derivatives transactions. You will monitor market trends, build relationships with clients, and provide timely, compliant market information and trading support to help achieve team objectives.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years in derivatives trading, strong market insight, and licensing or exam progress for Type 1/Type 4.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or related field.
• Proficient in Cantonese and Mandarin; English a plus.
• Eligible HK work visa.
• Solid knowledge of financial markets and derivatives trading, esp. options.
• 2+ years of complex derivatives trading; high-frequency trading experience preferred.
• Strong market insight, trading thinking and risk awareness.
• Licensing: Type 1 and Type 4 or Papers 1,7 & 8 preferred.

Job description

• Demonstrate a strong interest in short-term trading and a sound understanding of equity markets and relevant financial derivatives.
• Monitor market trends and client trading preferences, build trusted relationships with clients, and provide timely, professional and compliant market information and trading-related support to contribute to team objectives.
• Maintain effective client relationships, respond to client enquiries relating to transactions and account services, and enhance client engagement and retention through needs-based and compliant service.
• Provide regular market updates and analysis to clients; respond promptly to daily enquiries and service requests; and handle client feedback, complaints and issues in accordance with internal procedures to maintain a high standard of client satisfaction.
• Strengthen long-term client relationships and client loyalty through one-to-one engagement, client seminars, investment strategy briefings, investor education sessions and other approved client engagement activities; identify appropriate referral opportunities in line with clients’ needs and internal policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in finance, economics or related fields is preferred
• Proficient in Cantonese and Mandarin as working languages, English fluency is a plus
• Eligible Hong Kong work visa (e.g., IANG, TTPS, QMAS)
• Solid basic knowledge of Financial Market, proficiency in the trading rules of complex financial derivatives such as options
• 2 years or more of experience in complex derivatives trading, and personal high-frequency trading experience is preferred
• Passionate about the trading sector, familiar with the characteristics of short-term trading client groups, equipped with keen market insight, strong trading thinking and psychological gaming ability, capable of independently analyzing market trends and formulating short-term trading strategies
