Job summary

APBA TG Human Resource Pte Ltd (14C7275) is seeking a DevOps/Production Support engineer to provide Level 2 operational support for mission-critical apps and platform services in a Hong Kong based environment.

You will troubleshoot production incidents, support deployments, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes, while maintaining documentation and runbooks. A 3+ year background in DevOps or production support is required.

Qualifications

• A Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in DevOps, Application/Production Support, or Platform Administration.
• Strong Linux administration and production troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Podman, Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with React, Node.js, and Spring Boot applications.
• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Shell).

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 operational support for mission-critical applications and platform services.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents including RCA.
• Support deployments, rollbacks, and post-deployment verification activities.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, security scanning, and deployments.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized apps using Docker, Podman, Kubernetes.
• Administer Linux and Windows environments, including patching and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor system health, performance, logs, and alerts to ensure service availability.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and project teams for operational excellence.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and compliance-related procedures.
• Participate in a 24/7 support roster including standby and after-hours support.
