You will build internal tools, work with AI-assisted tools, and collaborate with end users to deliver reliable solutions across applications and infrastructure. The role requires strong AD expertise, Python skills, and a passion for streamlining

Qualificações

• Strong experience in desktop support and Active Directory.
• Solid software engineering skills, preferably Python.
• Experience developing internal tools, APIs, automation or web applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, containers, CI/CD and deployment workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work directly with end users.

We are partnering with a leading buy-side firm in Hong Kong looking for a hands-on Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support to researchers and improve their day-to-day technology experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with researchers to troubleshoot technical issues and deliver practical solutions.
• Develop internal tools, automation and applications to improve productivity and streamline workflows.
• Support and manage desktop infrastructure, including Active Directory.
• Leverage AI-assisted and agentic development tools to enhance engineering efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across applications, systems and infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in desktop support and Active Directory.
• Solid software engineering skills, preferably Python.
• Experience developing internal tools, APIs, automation or web applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, containers, CI/CD and deployment workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work directly with end users.
