Job summary

AmbTech is seeking a Regional Data Project Manager/Business Analyst (6-10 years) to bridge business and data teams in a consulting setting. You will lead data-driven initiatives, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery of complex data solutions.

Responsibilities include discovery workshops, requirements documents, BRDs/FRDs, data maps, and end-to-end project governance. Strong SQL, Power BI, Excel skills and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in business analysis and project management, preferably in consulting or client-facing roles.
• Excellent written and verbal English communications; able to handle senior stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder environments to deliver projects.
• Proficiency in SQL and analytics tools such as Power BI or Excel.
• Understanding data ecosystems: quality, pipelines, warehousing, reporting.

Role Overview

We are seeking a consultative Business Analyst / Project Manager with a strong foundation in data and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate has experience bridging business and technical teams, is adept at delivering data-driven solutions, and can operate confidently in fast-paced, stakeholder-driven environments. A background in consulting or similar client-facing roles is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Consultative Business Analysis:

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, data teams, and technology partners to deliver impactful solutions.
• Conduct discovery workshops, interviews, and analyses to define requirements and develop actionable plans for data-related initiatives.
• Challenge assumptions constructively, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize processes.
• Create high-quality documentation, including requirements (BRDs, FRDs), user stories, process flows, and data maps.

Project Management & Delivery:

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring timely and quality delivery of solutions.
• Oversee project governance through planning, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Lead cross-functional teams across business and technical domains, promoting collaboration and alignment.
• Drive UAT and ensure deliverables meet business needs and expectations.

Key Requirements

• 6+ years of combined experience in business analysis and project management, preferably within consulting or client-facing environments.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to manage senior stakeholders with ease.
• Proven ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments to deliver projects successfully.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with analytics tools like Power BI, or Excel.
• Solid understanding of data ecosystems, including data quality, pipelines, warehousing, and reporting.
• Structured problem-solver with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in consulting, financial services, or other data-intensive industries is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks and tools such as Jira or Confluence.
• Certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or Scrum Master are a plus.
