Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited invites a hands-on Business/Data Analyst to join our agile delivery team in Hong Kong. You will gather requirements, translate them for technology teams, and create dashboards and reports using BI tools to drive data‑driven decisions across the business.

You will collaborate with analysts, data engineers, and project managers, facilitate workshops, ensure data quality, and support governance processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in BA/DA roles.
• Experience with BI tools for dashboards.
• Data cleansing, mapping and analysis experience.
• Stakeholder management and workshop facilitation.
• Exposure to data governance frameworks or UAT support is advantageous.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese.
• Degree in CS/IS/Analytics or related discipline.

About the Job

Gather, analyse, and document clear business requirements from key corporate stakeholders. Translate complex business needs into functional and technical specifications for the technology teams. Facilitate structured workshops, interviews, and requirement‑gathering sessions. Create detailed process maps, business workflows, and gap analyses to recommend process improvements based on data insights. Collect, cleanse, and analyse large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, corporate reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) using modern BI tools. Act as a key liaison between business users and technical teams, presenting analytical findings in a clear, business‑friendly manner. Support data quality initiatives, monitor data integrity, and assist in defining corporate data standards and governance processes. Participate in data transformation projects, assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), and prepare comprehensive user guides and training materials.

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or a hybrid role handling requirement gathering and data reporting.
• Proven hands‑on experience with modern Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView) for dashboard creation.
• Strong competency in working with data, including basic data cleansing, data mapping, and analytical methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to facilitate workshops and translate technical jargon into business terms.
• Exposure to data governance frameworks, business workflow mapping, or UAT support is highly advantageous.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese is required to effectively collaborate with local and regional business stakeholders.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
