You will direct power, cooling, fire protection, and building systems, while driving capacity planning, budgeting, and stakeholder reporting.

Ideal candidates have extensive data center experience, strong leadership, vendor management, and a track record delivering complex projects within regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, IT, Facilities Management, Business, or related field.
• Significant experience managing data centre operations or critical facilities.
• Strong understanding of power, cooling, building systems, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Experience leading technical teams and delivering complex projects.
• Knowledge of capacity planning, risk management, and business continuity.
• Strong financial, vendor, and contract management skills.
• Professional certifications in data centre operations or related disciplines are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage site operations to ensure high levels of facility reliability and performance.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and upgrade of critical infrastructure including power, cooling, fire protection, and building management systems.
• Develop capacity plans and support facility growth initiatives.
• Manage site budgets, operational costs, and infrastructure investment projects.
• Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams across operations and engineering functions.
• Coordinate and manage external service providers, contractors, and vendors.
• Monitor operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead incident response and recovery activities to minimise disruption.
• Support customer onboarding, infrastructure provisioning, and ongoing service requirements.
• Oversee physical security processes and maintain controls for site access and information protection.
• Prepare operational reports and communicate performance updates to key stakeholders.
