Job summary

E-Frontiers is seeking a Datacentre Operations Engineer in Hong Kong to install, maintain and troubleshoot datacentre hardware, cabling, servers and network equipment. The role requires hands-on rack mounting, extensive coordination with vendors, and independent project management in a fast-paced financial technology environment.

You will build out datacentre infrastructure, manage power and cooling, and support global projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in a datacentre or critical infrastructure environment.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling and power-distribution models.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting managed CDUs.
• Hands-on server and network-device rack mounting and cabling experience.
• Experience coordinating datacentre vendors.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Chinese-language capability is advantageous but not essential.

Our client, a leading global financial technology business, is seeking a Datacentre Operations Engineer to join its growing Hong Kong team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically capable and self-motivated engineer to work in a fast-paced international environment supporting critical infrastructure used across global financial markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting datacentre hardware, cabling, servers and network equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, install and maintain datacentre infrastructure, including rack space, structured cabling, cooling and power.
