Job summary

JFE Consulting Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Field/Facilities Engineer to perform on-site maintenance for servers, storage, and related hardware within a data centre environment. You will monitor facilities, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and maintain precise records of configurations and repairs.

The role offers a 9:00–18:00 schedule with no shift, though flexibility for outages or unusual incidents may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a data centre environment.
• Familiarity with data centre management software and monitoring tools.
• Willing to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Senior level candidates may be considered for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform field maintenance on servers, storage, tape libraries, workstation hardware, telecom, cabling, and monitor data centre facilities.
• Resume IT services for outages and incidents.
• Ensure operations comply with safety, security, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain records of equipment configurations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Note: no shift; standard 9am–6pm.

Our client is a leading tech firm with expanding head count in HK office.

What you'll be doing

Work on field maintenance work for server, storage, tape library, workstation hardware, telecom, cabling and data centre facilities environmental monitoring and problem handling, resume the IT services for any outage.

Ensure all data centre operations comply with safety, security, and regulatory standards.

Maintain accurate records of equipment configurations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

No shift required , work on 9am-6pm

What we're looking for

At least 1 years of experience working in a data centre environment.

Familiarity with data centre management software and monitoring tools.

Availability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Data Centre industry relevant experience will be an advantage

More experience candidate will be consider as Senior Facility Engineer/Field Engineer
