Job summary

Speedy Group Corp. Limited in Hong Kong is looking for a Data Center Operations staff to monitor data center facilities, manage access control, and support helpdesk tasks. You will verify authorization, monitor CCTV and security checks, and assist with incident handling.

The role requires at least 2 years IT experience, familiarity with monitoring systems, and preference for data center exposure. Shift duties and travel allowances are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years IT working experience.
• Knowledge of system and network monitoring.
• Experience with IT helpdesk ticket workflows is a plus.
• Data center/operator duty experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate operation center/data center facilities, monitor performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Monitor the availability and performance of environmental facilities in data centre.
• Assist in handling Helpdesk activities, including problem reporting and incident handling.

Job description

Operate operation center/ data center facilities, monitor their performance and troubleshoot issues

Monitor the availability and performance of environmental facilities in data centre

Perform access control for visitors of data centre by verifying their authorization in the access control system

Monitor the physical security in operation center/ data center by means of digital video recording system and perform routine physical security checking

Assist in handling Helpdesk activities, including problem reporting and incident handling

Job Requirements:

• HKCEE/ HKDSE Graduate, Certificte/ Diploma in IT is preferred
• Min. 2 years IT working experience
• Knowledge in system/ network monitoring system
• Knowledge in IT support tickets workflow is definitely advantage
• Experience in operator duty or data center is highly preferred
