Rohlig Hong Kong Limited in Hong Kong (Kwun Tong) is seeking a Customer Relations Officer/Executive to support the Business Development Manager throughout the sales process and implement inside sales strategies to achieve growth targets. You will oversee lead generation, upsell opportunities, and maintain strong customer relationships globally.

The role requires English and Mandarin fluency, a logistics or related degree, and a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in logistics management or related discipline.
• English and Mandarin communication skills are essential for daily interactions with customers and overseas offices.
• Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage quotations, orders and rate inquiries accurately.

Responsibilities

• Support the Business Development Manager throughout the sales process.
• Implement inside sales strategies to achieve growth targets.

• Stay updated on industry issues and rate levels.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer issues and follow credit procedures.
• Report special occasions or issues to superiors and assist with ad-hoc duties.

About the role

As part of rapid expansion in Greater China, this role offers an excellent opportunity to join as a Customer Relations Officer / Executive in our Hong Kong branch located in Kwun Tong. You will support the Business Development Manager throughout the sales process and implement inside sales strategies to achieve business growth targets and objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Business Development Manager throughout the sales process

• Implement inside sales strategies to achieve business growth targets and objectives

• Oversee lead generation activities and strategies to acquire new clients

• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to existing customers

• Manage and enhance customer relationships to drive satisfaction, retention, and business growth

• Deliver top-tier customer service that exceeds customer expectations

• Answer customer and overseas emails/faxes promptly with professional replies (same-day reply)

• Communicate effectively with overseas offices and agents regarding sales and new orders

• Handle customer orders and issue professional-looking quotations and documents

• Update customer information accurately in EDI Enterprise

• Stay up-to-date on industry-related issues and rate levels

• Work closely with other internal departments to provide full support on customer issues

• Be aware of and follow credit control procedures and company policies

• Report any special occasions or issues to superiors on time and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in logistics management or related disciplines

• Minimum 2 years working experience in logistics/freight forwarder industry

• Able to communicate effectively in English & Mandarin, both verbally and in written

• Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

• Detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of handling quotations, orders, and rate inquiries accurately

• Good sense of credit control awareness and adherence to operational procedures
