Job summary

Capgemini Hong Kong Limited is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to design, develop, and deploy customer-facing solutions across Capgemini's platform. You will build integrations, prototypes, and production-grade software to meet client requirements, working closely with customers through the implementation lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, or a related role.
• Strong programming experience in one or more languages such as Python, Java, Go, C#,
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and software architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with customers to understand business objectives, operational processes, and technical requirements.
• Design, develop, and deploy customer-facing solutions using the company's platform and products.
• Build integrations between customer systems, APIs, databases, cloud services, and enterprise applications.
• Create prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and production-grade software to address customer needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during implementation and deployment.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to influence product roadmap and feature development.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into scalable technical architectures.
• Lead technical workshops, solution design sessions, and customer demonstrations.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
• Support customers throughout the implementation lifecycle, from discovery to production deployment.
• Document solution architectures, deployment procedures, and best practices.
