Job summary

Bank of Communications Co.,Ltd. in Hong Kong seeks an experienced custody services professional to promote services to institutional and corporate clients and to support cross‑border investment products.

You will liaise with internal units, assist in account openings and settlements, and work to grow and retain client relationships while applying knowledge of HK financial products and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree holder or above in Finance, Economics, Business or Banking related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of custody, securities or banking experience.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Relationship Manager.
• Experience in AI and digital assets is welcomed.
• Familiar with HK financial products such as private fund, stock and bond; knowledge of CCASS, Euroclear/Clearstream, CMU, QFI, QDII and Bond Connect.
• Attention to details, independent with critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and the ability to work under tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Possession of HKMA/SFC Type 1 or Type 4 license is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with good command of Cantonese and English; fluency in Mandarin is must.
• Immediate availability is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Promote custody service and related services to institutional and corporate clients in relation to various fund and investment products
• Assist teams in conducting research on financial technology and digital assets
• Assist in account opening and general settlement enquiry
• Manage, develop and retain quality client relationship
• Drive and grow business from both existing and potential clients
• Manage client relationship and identify potential business opportunity
• Work closely with different business units in the Bank and Head Office for cross‑selling of custody services
