Job summary

China Construction Bank (Asia) in Hong Kong seeks an experienced banker to drive custody and fund services sales to institutional and corporate clients. You will develop and execute plans, identify new business, promote services, budget marketing activities, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver superior client service.

Required is a strong sales background in custody/fund services, fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin a plus), and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in law, accounting or business disciplines.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in trustee/fund/custody industry.
• Solid sales experience in custody and fund services.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
• Familiar with offshore funds, authorised funds, ETFs, multi-asset funds, bond trustee, RQFII and QDII.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute sales & business development plans on Custody and Fund Services to achieve annual financial budget and sales target.
• Identify and solicit new business opportunities with potential clients, as well as generate and grow business from existing clients.
• Promote Custody Services and Fund Administration services to institutional and corporate clients.
• Prepare financial budget and marketing plan for business promotion.
• Work with internal counterparts and other relationship managers on marketing activities.
• Manage quality clients’ relationship and maintain high standard of service delivery.
• Handle ad hoc assignments and projects.
