Job summary

Pulsar in Hong Kong is seeking a Middle Office Operations Analyst to support strategic planning by monitoring media and announcements, maintaining news extraction configurations, and updating fee structures.

You will work with developers on automation, review processes, and provide ad-hoc analysis. The role requires a degree, 4–5 years of experience, strong Excel/SQL skills, and English communication; occasional non-office hours may be needed.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business / Finance / Statistics / CS / Engineering
• 4–5 years working experience in operations / analysis
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy
• Proficient in MS Excel and SQL
• Strong English communication skills
• Team player able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Monitor media and announcements to assist strategic planning and decision making
• Maintain configurations of news aggregation systems to ensure timely extraction
• Update the fee structures across all business platforms
• Review existing processes and identify automation opportunities; prepare system requirements or build scripts
• Coordinate with developers to support automation and process reengineering initiatives
• Support ad-hoc analysis and other operational tasks as assigned
• Non-office hour support may be required
