Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a similar role within the financial markets.
• Operational knowledge of financial markets.
• In-depth knowledge of handling trade flow through to settlement.
• Knowledge of Equity Derivatives especially options and equities.
• Adaptability in a fast-moving environment; hands-on while leading initiatives.
• Knowledge/Experience of Asian Markets preferred.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and brokers.
• Strive for efficiencies and challenge the status quo to drive changes.
• Prioritise based on materiality and risk considerations.
• Analytical mindset when tackling issues.
• SQL, VBA and Python skills desired, including using AI tools.
• Traits: analytical, detail-oriented, organised; proactive and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Reconciliation of position, cash, and trade activity prior to Market open.
• Reconcile front office P&L estimates to prime broker reporting.
• Analyse accruals including capital & interest charges, expenses, and commissions.
• Price validation of Trader EOD close prices.
• Liaise with external parties to resolve discrepancies.
• Contribute to system improvements to streamline daily processes.
• Support growth and expansion into new products/markets.
• Work with legal and compliance on onboarding relationships.
• Support desk to manage Margin obligations.
• Maintain and manage operational processes per regulatory framework
