Job summary

WeLab Bank in Hong Kong seeks a dynamic professional to join the client acquisition team. You will target cross-border e-commerce clients, focusing on Amazon sellers, and manage the full lifecycle from onboarding to credit management.

Build long-term relationships, analyze business performance, and tailor Supply Chain Finance and Trade Finance solutions while balancing growth with risk and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• 2+ years in corporate client acquisition or B2B sales.
• Experience in cross-border e-commerce, Supply Chain Finance, Trade Finance, corporate financial services.
• Familiarity with Amazon seller ecosystem, cross-border e-commerce, or SME financing is an advantage.
• Existing customer resources or channel partnerships preferred.
• Strong customer acquisition, market development, and negotiation capabilities.
• Sound commercial judgment, risk awareness, and ability to independently drive opportunities.
• Fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin; proficiency in English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and develop cross-border e-commerce seller clients, focusing on Amazon and major platforms.
• Build long-term client relationships by understanding customers’ business models and growth plans.
• Manage the full customer lifecycle from acquisition, due diligence, credit application to loan drawdown and post-loan relationship management.
• Analyze customers’ business performance and prepare due diligence reports and recommendations.
• Design and deliver Supply Chain Finance and Trade Finance solutions balancing growth, risk, and compliance.
• Develop partnerships with seller communities, payment providers, ERP vendors, logistics companies, and ecosystems.
• Participate in customer visits, industry events, and joint marketing initiatives to identify opportunities.
• Collect customer feedback and market intelligence to support product enhancement and grow the asset portfolio.
