Job summary

WeLab is seeking a senior Partnerships leader to drive enterprise-wide collaborations across its retail banking, investment, insurance, and lending businesses. You will identify, structure, and scale strategic alliances with ecosystem players to grow customers and revenue while ensuring HK regulatory compliance.

You will lead cross-functional teams and oversee the full partnership lifecycle, from sourcing to negotiations and execution, with a strong emphasis on value creation and risk management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in strategic partnerships or business development within banking, insurance, asset management, or fintech.
• Hong Kong financial services exposure and HKMA/SFC familiarity preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end partnership lifecycle from strategy to ongoing management.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities with insurers, asset managers, fintechs, and platforms.
• Develop business cases, financial models, and revenue projections for partnerships.
• Structure commercial models and lead negotiations with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Finance.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Operations, Marketing, Credit, and CX teams.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards; present updates to stakeholders and executives.
