Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. Hong Kong Branch is seeking a qualified professional to lead operational risk management within credit card operations. The role focuses on evaluating risk exposure, ensuring policy compliance, and driving robust control frameworks across the business.

The candidate should have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, and the ability to work independently, with consideration for seniority up to Senior Manager if more experienced.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ banking experience in operational risk management, internal control, or compliance.
• Sound knowledge of credit card operations and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and monitor operational risk exposure across credit card processes.
• Ensure credit card business operations comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate operational risk incidents, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective action plans.
• Prepare timely risk and compliance reports for Senior Management, internal departments and external regulatory authorities.
