Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) is seeking an experienced risk professional to lead operational risk management within the Compliance and Risk Management team. You will review marketing and product materials, analyze compliance risks in new business, products, processes and systems.

The role covers trade surveillance and daily monitoring, regulatory reporting, coordinating audits with other departments, and staff training.

Responsibilities

• Act as first line of defense to Compliance and Operations Risk Manager and analyze compliance risks in new business/products/processes/systems.
• Conduct trade surveillance and daily report monitoring to identify compliance/operational risks and provide recommendations to strengthen controls.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting matters, internal and external audits, and liaise with other departments.
• Coordinate internal/external reviews, self-assessments or audits.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and conduct staff training when required.
