Job summary

Dao Kee Construction Company Limited, established in 1972, seeks a capable Maintenance/Public Relations Officer to support building maintenance tasks in Hong Kong. You will draft sketches, measure sites, check cost estimates, and update project data, while handling public enquiries and resolving technical issues.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Word, with strong English and Chinese communication. Independent and proactive individuals are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Studies or equivalent, with minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in building maintenance.
• Pass HKCEE/HKDSE with at least 5 subjects including English and Chinese.
• Experience in HKHA maintenance projects preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, PowerPoint, Excel and MS Word; bilingual in English and Chinese.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; self-motivated and independent.

Responsibilities

• Drafting sketches and site measurements for maintenance projects.
• Take offs and cost estimates; data entry and updating programme/database.
• Handle public enquiries/ complaints; resolve technical issues.
• Assist in using HA computer systems and support In-flat Inspection Ambassadors when required.

Job description

Holder of Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Studies or equivalent, with minimum 1 year's post-qualification experience in building maintenance.

Having passed at least 5 subjects (including English and Chinese) in the HKCEE/ HKDSE.

Previous experience in HKHA maintenance projects is highly preferred.

Able to perform the duties of drafting sketches, site measurement, take off, checking cost estimates, data entry, prepare and update programme and database, handling public enquiries/ complaints, resolving technical issues, and other duties as assigned.

Proficient in computer applications, including AutoCAD, PowerPoint, Excel, word processing in both Chinese and English, spreadsheet and email.

Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.

Highly self-motivated and independent, with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Work as Public Relation Officer to assist In-flat Inspection Ambassadors in handling enquires, appointments and complaints from tenants and entering data in HA’s computer systems when required.
