Qualifications

• Holder of Degree or Higher Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction field.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Hands on computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain frequent site inspections to ensure safety regulations are complied with.
• Train and liaise with site personnel, subcontractors and government officials on safety matters.
• Monitor safety performance of workers and provide safety advice to site management.
• Ensure first aid facilities are available and equipment is maintained for emergencies.
• Assist in accident investigations and recommend preventive measures.

Registered Safety Officer with the Labour Department

Holder of Degree or Higher Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent, with minimum 5 years of experience in construction field

Previous experience in HKHA maintenance projects is highly preferred

Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese

Hands on computer knowledge

Key responsibilities

Ensure Safety Regulations are complied with by maintaining frequent site inspections, training and liaison with site personnel, subcontractors and government officials

Assist site management in monitoring safety performance of workers and providing safety advice to site management from time to time

Ensure with the assistance of qualified first aid personnel that all first aid facilities are available for use in emergencies, and all legally required equipments are maintained in good working conditions

Assist in accident investigation, if any; and recommend preventive measures to the site management

Implement the Company's policy on occupational safety and health and ensure the sites' safety standards are met

Lead the site safety team

Plan, execute, and improve Safety Management System to achieve best practices

Create, review and update Safety Management Manual

Provide coaching and mentoring to the team to implement the Safety Management System

Maintain a close relationship with internal departments to enhance the health and safety management system
