Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Contract Systems Analyst to revamp CCCS and CCSP platforms using Spring Boot, Vue, Python and NGINX. The role covers system enhancement, e-payment interfacing and 24/7 self-service portal features for government services.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in J2EE/SQL and strong Linux/Oracle background, with Cantonese and English language proficiency required. On-site work at FEHD offices in Hong Kong SAR.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in similar post and in a comparable capacity.
• Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience in J2EE Development and 4+ years in Oracle/SQL environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the gov.
• Maintain and enhance CCCS/CCSP platforms for improved performance and interface.

Contract Systems Analyst (C41177) - Spring Boot, Vue, Python, NGINX

Revamp of Cemeteries and Crematoria Computer System (RCCCS).

To revamp the existing aged CCCS with latest technology for improving the system performance, providing better user interface and experience, and supporting more auto-approval features in operation to reduce the department staff manual efforts in processing related applications and improve overall operational efficiency.

Enhancement on Platform for Cemeteries and Crematoria Services (CCSP).

To enhance the e-payment feature interfacing with Government Cloud Infrastructure Services (GCIS) e-Payment Service and Event Booking feature in CCSP, thereby providing citizens with efficient access to the department Cemeteries and Crematoria (C&C) services with a 24/7 self-service portal featuring online payment, integrated QR code authentication for arrival, and automated backend processes to minimize administrative workload for the deprartment personnel.

Duties:

Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the gov;

Working hours: Normal office hours

Working location: FEHD offices in Hong Kong SAR

Language required: Cantonese and English

On call duty: Not required

Others : Ability to work under pressure

Mandatory technical skills for application support and development using:

Python Programming Language (36 months)

Spring Boot Framework (36 months)

NGINX Web Server (36 months)

Technical Skills:

At least 5 years' experience in J2EE Development;

At least 5 years' experience in SQL*PLUS/PL/SQL/PRO*C;

At least 5 years' experience in Structured Query Language;

At least 5 years' experience in Web Programming;

At least 5 years' experience in Web Services;

5 years' experience in JBoss Application Server is an advantage;

2 years' experience in Enterprise Java Beans Development is an advantage;

2 years' experience in Java Application Framework (e.g. Struts (Apache)) is an advantage.

Non-technical Skills:

At least 1 year's experience in vendor management;

2 years' experience in work with the Government is an advantage.

Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;

At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.

Requirements:

At least 4 year experience in Oracle Database 19c or above;

At least 4 year experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 7 or above;

Experience in VMWare ESXi version 6.5 or above would be an advantage;

Experience in JBoss EAP version 8.0 or above would be an advantage;

Experience in support internet application deployed on GCIS would be an advantage;

Experience in Linux shell script would be an advantage.

Technical Skills:

At least 4 years' experience in Apache Web Server;

At least 4 years' experience in System Backup Operation;

At least 4 years' experience in Infrastructure;

At least 4 years' experience in Linux System Administration;

At least 4 years' experience in MySQL;

At least 4 years' experience in Oracle Real Application Cluster;

At least 4 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS;

At least 4 years' experience in SQL*PLUS/PL/SQL/PRO*C;

At least 4 years' experience in Storage Area Network;

At least 4 years' experience in Structured Query Language.

Non-technical Skill:

Good written English is a must;

Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;

At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 4 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
