Job summary

Heng An Standard Life (Asia) Limited seeks an experienced transformation project manager in Hong Kong to lead end-to-end life operations projects. You will coordinate users, stakeholders and technology teams to define specifications and drive delivery across the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong experience in life operations, multi-project management, and proficiency in English and Chinese. The ideal candidate will contribute to the transformation roadmap and handle ad hoc tasks as

Qualifications

• University degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years in life operations.
• At least 5 years end-to-end system project management.
• Strong desire to design and execute life operations projects.
• Willingness to expand to cross-departmental non-operation transformation projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
• Candidate with less experience will be considered for Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Implement transformation project items end-to-end from prioritization to post-implementation monitoring.
• Engage users, stakeholders and tech team to translate requirements into system specs.
• Contribute ideas to the transformation roadmap.
• Refine the project cycle to shorten UAT with proper prep.
• Handle ad hoc change requests and bug fixes timely.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues with mitigations.
• Update manuals and procedures as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process streamlining and drive execution.

• Implement the transformation project items assigned end-to-end from prioritization, user requirements confirmation, functional specification review, UAT execution and post implementation monitoring
• Engage users/stakeholders and technology team to transform user requirements into feasible system specifications for implementation
• Contribute ideas to the Company’s transformation roadmap
• Continuously finetune the project cycle with specific focus on shortening UAT with proper prior preparation with technology team without sacrificing testing quality
• Handle ad hoc system change requests and bug fixes timely to achieve pre-defined results
• Identify and manage project risks and issues, implement solutions to minimize business impacts
• Update manuals, procedures or operational forms where necessary as instructed
• Identify opportunities for process streamlining and drive execution with business users
• Handle any ad hoc tasks assigned by line manager

Qualifications/Experience

• University graduate is preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in life operations
• At least 5 years hands‑on experience managing system projects end‑to‑end.
• Strong desire and ability to design and execute life operations projects
• Willingness to expand to cross‑departmental non‑operation transformation project
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
