Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited invites a skilled Contract Analyst Programmer (C41193) to join the government IT team on a full-time contract, supporting the implementation and ongoing maintenance of e-Services and related internal systems, and liaising with users to gather requirements and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• 3+ years post-qualification experience with at least 1 year in a similar IT role.
• Experience in Java Enterprise applications and modern web frameworks (React.js) with Python.
• Knowledge of public or private cloud services, VM, networking, databases, security and containers.
• Experience in reviewing contractor deliverables for IT infrastructure/app systems.

Responsibilities

• Support system implementation and ongoing maintenance for delivering new/enhanced applications/e-services and liaise with users on requirements gathering and acceptance testing.
• Assist in quality reviews on deliverables submitted by contractors for IT infrastructure and application systems.
• Participate in design/implementation using Java Enterprise, React.js, Python and cloud technologies.
• Contribute to ensuring robust IT solutions through project delivery and teamwork.

Contract Analyst Programmer (C41193) - J2EE, React.js, Python, cloud

Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the government department;

To support the implementation/on-going maintenance/system enhancement of e-Services and related internal system.

Requirements:

Support system implementation/on-going maintenance for delivering new/enhanced applications/e-services and liaise with users on requirements gathering and acceptance testing.

Possess of knowledge, experience and skills in design and implementation of applications using public or private cloud services including VM, networking, database, security, container, etc.

Possess of experience in performing quality review on the deliverables submitted by contractors for acceptance of IT infrastructure/application systems.

Possess experience and skills in web programming and support of IT web application systems using Java Enterprise application, modern web framework (i.e. React.js), Python and AI prompt etc.

Possess solid experience in implementing and supporting IT projects for IT application systems.

Be a good team player with competent communication and interpersonal skills.

Possess of knowledge and experience in implementing and/or utilising centralised system and networking monitoring, and/or centralised log management and analytics is an advantage.

Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;

At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
