Job summary

UOB Kay Hian (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an Assistant Officer to join our operations team. You will assist with CIES applications, CRS/FATCA data maintenance, and support KYC for local and offshore openings, while acting as the contact point for salespersons and clients.

Fresh graduates are welcome. A customer‑focused mindset, strong English/Cantonese/Mandarin, and proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint are highly valued. Knowledge of AI tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of client servicing experience in the financial industry; prior experience in a brokerage firm is an advantage
• Strong customer service mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Holder of SFC Type 1 and 2 licenses is an advantage
• Proficient in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
• Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing
• A proactive team player with strong commercial awareness
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for the Assistant Officer position
• Effectively using AI is preferred

Responsibilities

• Handle CIES application, monitoring and reporting
• Handle CRS/FATCA day‑to‑day data maintenance and annual reporting
• Assist witness, KYC and document checking for local and offshore opening
• Act as the contact point for salespersons and client inquiries
• Contribute to ad‑hoc projects and perform other operational duties as assigned
