Individual Client Account Opening Assistant

We are the largest Singaporean stockbroker by both market capitalisation and size of sales-force, with an extensive foothold in the regional and global markets. We are looking for qualified individuals to join us.

Responsibilities:

Conduct individual client account opening and post opening reviews in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with KYC and AML requirements and data accuracy in systems

Review client documents, perform risk assessments and identify issues requiring escalation

Maintain and update client information and records in systems

Complete assigned cases on time and meet agreed target strictly

Work closely with the Sales and Back Office teams to follow up pending information and documents

Support periodic reviews, regulatory exercises, and remediation projects when required

Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

Higher Diploma or above. Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Risk Management, or related disciplines is preferred

1 to 3 years of experience in individual account opening process within the brokerage or banking industry is preferred. Fresh graduates with relevant internship or part-time experience will also be considered

Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy in document review and data entry

Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Chinese word processing

Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin

Effectively using AI is preferred
