Job summary

Marsh Risk in Hong Kong seeks a seasoned Corporate Broking professional to lead personal and client accounts, develop strategic documents, and research growth opportunities across markets. You will manage relationships with clients and underwriters, draft client-ready analyses, and drive proposals while ensuring regulatory and compliance standards are met.

This role emphasizes cross-functional engagement, industry event participation, and mentoring team members in a dynamic financial services

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree holder or above
• Holder of ACII or ANZIIF is preferable
• 6+ years experience in broking/general insurance industry
• Good PC Skills, including Words (English and Chinese), Excel & Power Point
• Ambitious, solution focus and strong skills in client and underwriters relationship management
• Good Command of Chinese (Mandarin) and English
• China working exposure will be a plus

Responsibilities

• Leads on personal accounts by setting goals and implementing action plans, monitoring progress, ensuring service meets client expectations, and protecting the firm from Errors & Omissions.
• Drafts essential comprehensive project documents for clients including white papers, approaches, quantitative analyses or presentations to support sales opportunities and account backing.
• Conducts research on markets or industries to identify growth opportunities for internal use.
• Analyzes data to support proposal creation and account-facing presentations.
• Addresses escalated issues, manages expectations, mitigates relationship risks and escalates when needed to senior colleagues ensuring compliance.
• Offers technical and transactional support for complex relationships to ensure satisfaction.
• Develops strong relationships with client organizations.
• Attends industry events to build a professional network and represent the company.
• Coaches team members through leading by example.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our local Corporate Broking team at Marsh. This role will be based in Hong Kong.

We will count on you to:

• L eads on personal accounts by setting goals and implements action plans, monitoring progress, assuring service meets or exceeds client expectations, and protecting the firm from Errors & Omissions.

• Drafts essential comprehensive project documents intended for clients including: white papers, approaches, quantitative financial analyses or general presentations on new subjects or opportunities to support the creation of sales opportunities and account backing.

• Conducts research on various markets or industries as designated to find resources on new growth areas and trends for expansion for internal use to identify growth opportunities.

• Conducts and refines data analyses to support proposal creation and account-facing presentations.

• Addresses escalated issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner, helps manage expectations, mitigate relationship risks and applies judgement as to when to elevate major issues to senior level colleagues ensuring compliance.

• Offers technical and transactional support for complex or high-priority relationships when needed to ensure relationship satisfaction and facilitate a mutual internal and external understanding.

• Develops strong relationships with professional counterparts at clientorganization

• Attends and participates in industry events and conferences to build up a strong professional network, maintain proximity to the relevant market and represent the Company.

• Coaches the team members through leading by example.

What you need to have:
