Asia Insurance in Hong Kong seeks a Claims Supervisor (EC / Motor) to oversee end-to-end claims handling in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. You will coordinate with internal teams, insureds, brokers and adjusters to ensure fair, timely settlements.

The role requires a degree or higher diploma in a related field, at least 5 years in general insurance claims (EC/Motor preferred) and 1–2 years in supervision. English proficiency is essential; Chinese is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years general insurance claims experience, EC or Motor preferred, 1–2 years in supervisory role.
• Knowledge of claims handling procedures, policy coverage interpretation, and liability assessment.
• Professional qualifications such as ACII or ANZIIF are a plus.
• English proficiency required; Chinese a plus.

Responsabilités

• Oversee end-to-end claims handling in line with company policies and service standards.
• Review policy terms, endorsements, and declarations to confirm coverage and establish claim files.
• Coordinate claims handling with internal departments, insureds, brokers, adjusters and other parties.
• Review and assess claim documentation for completeness and compliance.
• Conduct investigations and gather information to support assessment.
• Assess liabilities, determine settlement amounts, and submit recommendations.
• Negotiate with claimants, brokers and providers for fair, timely resolutions.
• Manage settlements and ensure payments are processed accurately.
• Support claims team with correspondence and monthly reports.
• Mentor junior staff to maintain service standards and turnaround times.
• Assist in improving procedures and workflows; participate in projects.
