Job summary

Dah Sing Financial Group in Hong Kong is seeking a Motor Insurance Claims Officer to handle motor claims from initiation to resolution. You will verify and assess claims, liaise with customers and service providers, and negotiate settlements with third party claimants.

Fresh graduates and non-degree holders with relevant experience are welcome. Candidates with IIQE/ACII/ANZIIF are advantaged. Strong English/Chinese communication and analytic skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related disciplines.
• (non-degree holder with relevant experience will be also considered)
• Fresh graduates will be considered
• Relevant experience in general insurance industry will be advantageous
• Professional insurance qualification (e.g. IIQE / ACII / ANZIIF) will be an advantage
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Good communication and analytical skills
• Good computer skills

Responsibilities

• Handle Motor insurance claims from initiation to resolution
• Verify, investigate and assess validity of claims
• Liaise with customers and service providers
• Negotiate settlements with third party claimants
• Attend Small Claims Tribunal
• Answer claims hotlines and general telephone enquiries
• Provide quality service to customers in accordance with the service standards
• Assist in ad hoc projects and UAT as assigned by supervisors
