Job summary

The Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, Hong Kong is seeking a visionary Chief Executive to provide strategic direction and inspirational leadership to advance the Agency's mission and drive sustainable growth.

Reporting to the Executive Committee, the CEO will oversee strategic, operational, financial and people agendas, ensure governance and service quality, and build partnerships with government, donors and the community.

Qualifications

• Master degree in a related discipline, preferably in a helping profession.
• Proven senior executive leadership with track record in large organisations.
• Excellent communicator with strategic thinking and team leadership; fluent in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.

Job description

We are seeking a visionary and high-calibre leader to serve as our Chief Executive, providing strategic direction and inspirational leadership to advance the Agency's mission, strengthen its impact on service users and the wider community, and drive sustainable growth, innovation, and organisational excellence.

Reporting to the Executive Committee, the Chief Executive will be responsible for leading the Agency’s overall strategic, operational, financial, and people agenda, ensuring effective governance, stakeholder engagement, service quality, and long-term sustainability. The successful candidate will champion a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while fostering strong partnerships with government, donors, community stakeholders, service users, and staff.

Requirements

• Master degree in a related discipline, preferably in a helping profession;
• Solid senior executive experience, with a successful track record in leading sizeable organizations and driving strategic and organizational development;
• Strong leadership in governance, financial stewardship, stakeholder engagement, and talent management; experience in the NGO sector will be an advantage;
• An excellent communicator, strategic thinker and team player with analytical and innovative mind-set and excellent organisation, presentation and leadership skills to drive, direct and delegate staff and collaborate with working partners in achieving the Agency’s vision and missions with the actualization of its value; and
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.

Appointment will be made on contract term.
