Job summary

Teach Abroad - Experior Asia in Hong Kong seeks an engaging educator to deliver Science and Mathematics from IB DP up to HL, IGCSE, AP, and IAL curricula. You will plan and tailor lessons for diverse abilities, develop materials, and assess student progress while communicating with parents and the Lead Instructor.

Responsibilities include monitoring student performance, providing feedback, and supporting centre operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Science / Mathematics or related discipline.
• Experience teaching international curricula (IBDP, IGCSE, AP, IAL/A-Levels).
• Proven experience preparing students for external exams (IBDP/IGCSE/AP/AL).
• Excellent communication skills; fluency in English.
• Ability to adapt teaching approaches and materials to learners' needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Science (Chemistry, Biology, Physics bonus) and Mathematics lessons aligned with IB DP up to HL, IAL, AP, and IGCSE.
• Plan, adapt, and tailor lesson content to meet varied abilities.
• Develop teaching materials, assignments, and practice assessments.
• Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Communicate professionally with parents and Lead Instructor regarding progress.
• Build positive student–teacher relationships to foster motivation.
• Support centre operations, including scheduling and basic admin tasks.
• Teach both in-person and online classes as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Science / Mathematics or a related discipline
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of Mathematics concepts
• Experience teaching international curricula such as IBDP, IGCSE, AP, IAL/A-Levels (ability to teach IBDP HL is highly desirable)
• Proven experience preparing students for external examinations (e.g. IBDP, IGCSE, AP, A-Levels, ACT, SSAT, SAT), with evidence of student improvement preferred
• Excellent communication skills; fluency in English
• Ability to adapt teaching approaches and assignments to individual learning needs
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
