Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club seeks a seasoned professional to oversee grant management and payment processes for its Charities portfolio. You will vet claims, coordinate approvals, monitor project progress, and liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and governance across donations.

Responsibilities include coordinating auditors, supporting process improvements, and contributing to the Club's digital transformation efforts for the Charities Grant Management Portal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 8-10 years' relevant experience, preferably in accounting/audit with NGOs/government/public sectors.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, organizational and report writing skills.
• Bilingual English and Chinese in communication.
• Strong people management and stakeholder interaction skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Handle payment requests and claims vetting for approved donation projects.
• Coordinate change requests including budget movements and scope changes.
• Support project monitoring through site visits and reports.
• Manage appointed auditors and related records, billing and settlement.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and controls.
• Prepare management/Board reports and dashboards on donation status.
• Support digital transformation of Charities operations and portal development.
• Liaise with grantees and Finance for cash flow updates and projections.
