Job summary

Lane Crawford (Hong Kong) Limited invites an Assistant Cashier Supervisor to join our luxury retail team. You will oversee cashier operations at the cashier office, ensuring accurate sales transactions and smooth POS settlement processes.

Qualifications

• Experience working as Cashier at retail stores.
• Good knowledge of Sales Audit at frontline operations is a plus.
• Good Excel skills on daily POS/ Credit Card settlement.

Responsibilities

• Provide the cashiering service, including POS terminal floats, POS credit card settlement reports checking, daily cashier closings, currency exchange and handling cheques from customers.
• Evaluate unusual sales transaction on reports and ensure validity of transactions
• Prepare cash report including daily cash received and money to be banked
• Transfer foreign currency bank note and traveller cheque into banks with assistance of the appointed foreign currency exchange agent daily
• Set up credit card terminals and utilities for road show / trunk show events
• Prepare LC electronic gift card to corporate customers
• Process refunds for e-business transactions

As an Assistant Cashier Supervisor, you will work at the cashier office and help to ensure accurate sales transactions.

The Role

Provide the cashiering service, including POS terminal floats, POS credit card settlement reports checking, daily cashier closings, currency exchange and handling cheques from customers.

Evaluate unusual sales transaction on reports and ensure validity of transactions

Prepare cash report including daily cash received and money to be banked

The Ideal Candidate

At least 5 years of Cashier experience
