Job summary

Lane Crawford Joyce Group is seeking a cashiering professional in Hong Kong to manage daily cash operations, including POS handling, currency exchange, and cheque processing. You will monitor reports for unusual transactions and ensure accuracy in daily cash closings.

The role requires basic knowledge of currency handling, gift card processing, and refunds for e-business transactions, with a focus on accuracy and compliance. Training and team collaboration are available.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of cashier experience.
• Able to work in shift duties.
• Experience working as cashier at retail stores.
• Good knowledge of Sales Audit at frontline operations is a plus.
• Good Excel skills on daily POS/ Credit Card settlement.

Job description

The Role

• Provide the cashiering service, including POS terminal floats, POS credit card settlement reports checking, daily cashier closings, currency exchange and handling cheques from customers.
• Evaluate unusual sales transaction on reports and ensure validity of transactions
• Prepare cash report including daily cash received and money to be banked
• Transfer foreign currency bank note and traveller cheque into banks with assistance of the appointed foreign currency exchange agent daily
• Set up credit card terminals and utilities for road show / trunk show events
• Prepare LC electronic gift card to corporate customers
• Issue electronic gift card at POS terminals
• Process refunds for e-business transactions

The Ideal Candidate

• At least 2 years of Cashier experience
• Able to work in shift duties
• Experience working as Cashier at retail stores
• Good knowledge of Sales Audit at frontline operations is a plus
• Good Excel skills on daily POS/ Credit Card settlement
