Job summary

Lane Crawford is seeking a Cashier Supervisor to oversee cashier operations at our Hong Kong stores. You will ensure accurate sales transactions, manage POS settlements, and supervise daily cash processes in a dynamic luxury retail environment.

The ideal candidate has extensive cashier experience in retail, familiarity with sales audits, and strong Excel skills to support daily POS and settlement tasks. This role offers a 5-day work week, staff wellbeing programs, and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of cashier experience is required.
• Able to work in shift duties and handle retail cash desks.
• Experience as a cashier in retail stores is expected.
• Good knowledge of sales audit at frontline operations is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills for daily POS and credit card settlements.

Responsibilities

• Provide cashiering service, including POS floats and settlement reports.
• Monitor and evaluate unusual sales transactions for validity.
• Prepare cash reports including daily receipts and banking.
• Handle foreign currency exchange with agents and LC gift cards for corporate clients.
• Set up credit card terminals for road shows and events.
• Process refunds for e-business transactions.

As a Cashier Supervisor, you will work at the cashier office and help to ensure accurate sales transactions.

The Role

• Provide the cashiering service, including POS terminal floats, POS credit card settlement reports checking, daily cashier closings, currency exchange and handling cheques from customers.
• Evaluate unusual sales transaction on reports and ensure validity of transactions
• Prepare cash report including daily cash received and money to be banked
• Transfer foreign currency bank note and traveller cheque into banks with assistance of the appointed foreign currency exchange agent daily
• Set up credit card terminals and utilities for road show / trunk show events
• Prepare LC electronic gift card to corporate customers
• Process refunds for e-business transactions

The Ideal Candidate

• At least 5 years of Cashier experience
• Able to work in shift duties
• Experience working as Cashier at retail stores
• Good knowledge of Sales Audit at frontline operations is a plus
• Good Excel skills on daily POS/ Credit Card settlement
