Job summary

Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong is seeking a Captain for Lobster Bar & Grill to provide exceptional dining experiences with timely, courteous service in a luxury hotel setting.

You will lead a section, ensure standards, and coordinate with colleagues to maintain a seamless guest journey in a highly rated restaurant within the Shangri-La Group.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in hotel or F&B service (as stated)
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese

About The Role

As a Captain - Lobster Bar & Grill, you will be focusing on delivering exceptional dining experiences by ensuring timely, courteous and professional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality service to guests and ensure their satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
• Ensure smooth operation of the assigned work section and uphold restaurant standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the section before and after service according to Hotel standard.
• Gather guest feedback for continuous improvement of service.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

About You

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the Hotel or F&B Service Industry.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-oriented and self-motivated team player.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
