Job summary

Asia Pacific Securities Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced accountant to manage the full set of accounting duties. The role requires independent handling of monthly and annual closings, financial statements, tax filings, and regular financial analysis.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in full-set corporate accounting with monthly and annual closing
• Mainland financial background preferred
• Familiar with tax filing, cost control or budget analysis; tax optimisation is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
• Detail-oriented with strong sense of responsibility; able to independently handle full-set financial work
• Immediate availability preferred

Responsibilities

• Review daily vouchers, perform bookkeeping and account recording to ensure financial data is accurate and timely
• Independently complete monthly and annual closing, and prepare financial statements such as balance sheet and profit & loss statement
• Handle bank and cash reconciliation as well as intercompany/current account calculations, and regularly clear discrepancies
• Complete calculation, filing and payment of various taxes on time, and manage invoice issuance and verification
• Assist in preparing the annual budget, track execution progress, analyse variances, and provide cost-reduction suggestions
• Conduct regular financial data analysis, prepare analysis reports, and support management decision-making
• Optimise financial processes and internal controls, and coordinate with internal and external audits

Job Overview

Responsible for the company's full set of accounting, tax filing, financial statement preparation, and daily financial management. We offer weekends off, working hours from 9:00 to 18:00, and no overtime. The office is located in the core area of Wan Chai with a comfortable sea-view working environment. This position requires the ability to independently handle the full set of accounting work. Candidates with Mainland financial background are preferred. Practitioners with relevant hands-on experience are welcome to join.

Key Responsibilities
