Job summary

Byrich Holdings Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced In-House Accountant to manage full set accounting, month-end closing, and reporting. You will ensure accurate financial records and compliance with HK standards.

You will handle AP/AR, GL, bank reconciliations, tax filings, audit support, and assist in budgeting and cash flow forecasting while coordinating with management and external auditors. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma / degree in accounting or finance required.
• HKICPA / ACCA / CPA qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform full set accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliation and cash book maintenance.
• Verify invoices, expenses claims and payment documents; ensure all transactions comply with company policies.
• Conduct month-end closing procedures and prepare financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement).
• Prepare regular management reports, financial analysis and ad-hoc reports for senior management review.
• Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation calculation and periodic asset count.
• Support annual audit procedures, prepare audit schedules and follow up on audit adjustments.
• Handle basic tax compliance, including profit tax, salaries tax documentation and tax filing arrangement (Hong Kong based).
• Manage financial documents, filing system, contracts and accounting records in both soft and hard copies.
• Communicate with banks, suppliers, customers, auditors and company secretarial parties.
• Assist in cash flow forecasting, budget preparation and financial data consolidation.
• Support daily finance operations and ad-hoc assignments from management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
• Holder of HKICPA / ACCA / CPA qualification is a plus.
• 2–4 years solid in-house full-set accounting experience.
• Familiar with Hong Kong Accounting Standards and basic Hong Kong tax regulations.
• Proficient in Excel (Vlookup, Pivot Table) and accounting systems (Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, SAP or equivalent).
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese / Mandarin.
• Detail-oriented, independent, able to work under pressure during month-end and year-end closing.
• Responsible, well-organised and able to handle multi-tasking efficiently.
