Job summary

Wharf (Holdings) Limited is seeking an experienced accounting professional to handle the Mainland Investment Properties finance duties. You will participate in annual budgeting, forecasts and provide detailed analyses.

The role requires at least 2 years in audit or accountancy, with knowledge of PRC accounting beneficial. Strong English, Chinese and Putonghua communication skills are essential; the team offers a competitive package and career development opportunities.

• Student member of HKICPA or other professional accounting bodies.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounting and finance related work for Mainland Investment Properties.
• Participate in annual budget and forecast and prepare quantitative and qualitative analyses.
• Control CAPEX and OPEX payments; review monthly local accounts and tax filings.
• Monitor outstanding accounts receivable; plan internal audits and prepare reports.
• Guide local accounting teams on daily operations; perform ad hoc duties as required.

Job description

• Responsible for handling the accounting and finance related works for Mainland Investment Properties
• Participate in annual budget and forecast as well as prepare quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Exercise proper control on CAPEX and OPEX payments
• Review of monthly local accounts and handle tax filing
• Monitor and follow up outstanding accounts receivable items
• Plan and conduct internal audit of local accounting operations as well as prepare relevant reports
• Provide guidance to local accounting teams on daily accounting/ financial operations
• Perform any ad hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting/ Finance or relevant disciplines
• Student member of HKICPA or other professional accounting bodies
• Minimum 2 years' related working experience in Audit or Accountancy field
• Experience and knowledge in PRC accounting and taxation will be an advantage
• Independent, self-motivated and a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• High proficiency in written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua
