Job summary

Sa Sa Cosmetic Company Limited is seeking a Senior Business Performance Analyst to deliver comprehensive performance analysis across retail, brand and SKU levels. You will translate data into actionable insights and present findings to the COO and senior management to guide strategic decisions.

The role requires a university degree and at least four years of relevant experience in retail or FMCG analytics, with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and exposure to Power BI.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in business, commercial or financial analysis, preferably within the retail or FMCG industry.
• Candidates with more extensive relevant experience may be considered for the position of Senior Business Performance Analyst, with the ability to translate data into practical recommendations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across different business functions.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular performance reports and analytical support to the Chief Operating Officer and other senior management stakeholders across retail operations and commercial functions.
• Analyze business performance at store, category, brand and SKU levels, covering sales, gross profit, product mix, inventory movement, workforce productivity and other key business indicators.
• Monitor results against budgets, business targets and prior-period performance, identifying performance gaps, business opportunities and areas requiring management attention.
• Evaluate achievement against brand targets and the effectiveness of promotional activities, including sales uplift, profitability, sell-through and post-promotion trends.
• Develop management reports and dashboards, translating data into actionable insights to support business reviews and decision-making.
• Partner with Merchandising, Sales Operations, Marketing and Finance teams to develop and implement appropriate follow-up actions.
• Support business planning, budgeting, forecasting and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional performance reviews, track agreed actions and provide analytical support for business improvement projects.
