Job summary

A prominent retail group based in Hong Kong is seeking a Business Analyst to analyze financial performances and business proposals. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or IT, and at least 3 years of experience in accounting. Responsibilities include reviewing financial performances, preparing reports, and conducting investment analyses. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with good command of English and Chinese.

Job description

Role Purpose:

The role is responsible for analyzing financial performances and business proposals of Business Units.

A typical day in this Role:

• Review financial and KPIs performances of BUs
• Analyze and evaluate the financial profitability of particular store formats
• Review the annual operating plan and budget
• Prepare performance report or presentations on the Group's business performance
• Prepare investment analyses for the review of Investment Committee

• Having a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business, IT or related discipline
• With at least 3 years experience in accounting for accounting firms and/ or MNC. With knowledge of Retail / FMCG is an advantage. Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Business Analyst
• Commercially minded, with strong analytical and problem solving skills, with VBA knowledge is an advantage
• Good command of English and Chinese and presentation skills
