Job summary

OSL in Hong Kong seeks a Trading Operations Specialist to support the daily post-trade settlement cycle, middle-office reconciliations, and liquidity monitoring for the BizPay business line.

You will work under the guidance of a senior team member to process daily transactions across multiple markets, perform reconciliations, and escalate issues to regional partners as needed. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of operational experience in payments, fintech, brokerage or trading.
• Understanding of trade lifecycles, cross-border payments, and FX settlement concepts.
• High attention to detail with ability to work under strict daily cutoffs.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin; Cantonese is a plus.
• Calm, analytical, and proactive problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Daily Settlement Support: assist in matching, clearing, and settling daily transactions across target markets.
• Intraday Cash & Liquidity Tracking: monitor real-time multi-currency balances for BizPay transactions.
• Payment Processing: execute cross-border payments via SWIFT, local rails; track statuses and cutoffs.
• Middle Office Reconciliations: perform cash/position reconciliations and routine checks.
• Break Identification & Escalation: spot breaks, payment fails, and discrepancies; escalate as needed.
• Counterparty Coordination: liaise with regional counterparties, brokers, and banks.
• Process Maintenance: update SOPs and identify process improvements.
