Job summary

Captar Partners Limited is seeking a Business Development Manager in Hong Kong for an international logistics and freight-forwarding group. The role focuses on expanding eCommerce logistics and freight forwarding accounts with a strong hunter approach to generate new business and increase gross profit.

You will operate as an individual contributor, owning the pipeline and forecasts, and collaborating with operations and product teams to design end-to-end logistics solutions for mid-to-large

Qualifications

• Degree holder in a related discipline preferred.
• Solid logistics or freight-forwarding sales experience with proven new-business / GP generation.
• Background in eCommerce logistics / digital supply-chain sales or air / ocean freight commercial sales welcome.
• Comfortable as an individual contributor with a hunter mindset.
• Strong spoken and written English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development with a strong hunter approach across eCommerce logistics and/or freight forwarding accounts.
• Identify, pitch and close logistics opportunities that grow gross profit; build mid-to-large shipper or eCommerce accounts.
• Partner with operations and product teams to design competitive, end-to-end solutions.
• Own pipeline, forecasts and activity discipline as an individual contributor against clear commercial targets.
• Bring portable relationships where relevant and support smooth onboarding of new accounts.
