Job summary

Fides Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead SAP Supply Chain initiatives in Hong Kong. You will gather requirements from stakeholders, document functional specifications for MM, SD and PP, and design process models for current and future operations.

• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across all levels from operators to senior management.
• Experience with SAP implementation methodologies (ASAP or similar) and project management tools.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for clear specifications.
• Experience in change management and user training within enterprise systems.

Conduct detailed requirements gathering and analysis from business stakeholders to understand supply chain process needs and pain points

Document functional and technical specifications for SAP Supply Chain modules, including Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Production Planning (PP)

Develop comprehensive process models and workflow diagrams to visualise current and future supply chain operations

Provide expert guidance on best practices in SAP Supply Chain configuration and implementation

Collaborate with technical teams and developers to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into system solutions

Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate with business teams to validate system functionality

Create detailed training materials and user documentation to support system adoption and change management

Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend optimisations within SAP Supply Chain modules

Support post-implementation activities, including issue resolution and performance monitoring

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP Supply Chain functionality and industry best practices

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years specifically focused on SAP Supply Chain implementations or support
• Strong expertise in SAP Supply Chain modules, including Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Inventory Management, and Demand Planning
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and functional specification documentation
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from operational staff to senior management
• Experience with SAP implementation methodologies (such as ASAP or similar frameworks) and project management tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business problems into clear technical solutions
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to create clear and concise specifications
• Experience in change management and user training within enterprise system implementations
• Knowledge of supply chain processes, procurement, inventory management, and logistics is highly desirable
• Professional certifications in SAP or relevant business analysis qualifications are advantageous
• Familiarity with the Hong Kong business environment and regional supply chain considerations is a plus
