Job summary

Lane Crawford Joyce Group in Hong Kong is seeking a Business Analyst to support decision-making, campaigns and strategic projects by leveraging Customer Insights. You will analyze large data sets and translate them into actionable recommendations, closely monitoring customer trends to identify gaps and opportunities.

The role involves preparing reports, dashboards, CRM segmentation, and post-campaign analysis, collaborating with IT and data teams on data migration and personalization

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' similar experience; luxury retail a bonus.
• Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related analytical field.
• Experience with database management and reporting, and the applicable systems.
• Strong SQL, Tableau and Power BI; Python and Google Analytics an advantage.
• Technical experience with ETL processes and data extraction/transformation/loading.
• Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Naturally curious with a positive approach to tasks.

As our Business Analyst, you will be a key contributor to decision-making, key campaigns and activities as well as strategic projects within by leveraging Customer Insights. It is crucial that you possess the ability to analyze large sets of data and complex figures, and effectively translate them into actionable and understandable recommendations. A curious mindset is essential, as you will closely monitor customer trends to identify gaps, opportunities, and take appropriate actions.

The Role

• Prepare reports, analysis, and dashboards to support decision-making for management and stakeholders.
• Possess familiarity with the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process and the ability to handle data from various sources in order to provide a comprehensive overview of members.
• Analyze customer data to identify the most valuable customers and recommend target customer segments for CRM/Marketing actions.
• Conduct pre/post campaign analysis for all CRM/Marketing actions, evaluate campaign performance, and provide recommendations for improvement in corresponding campaigns.
• Collaborate closely with internal data teams and IT for data migration projects and enhance data with new sources, with a particular focus on personalization, predictive behavior, and online-to-offline influence.
• Generate ad hoc reports to identify potential business opportunities.
• Possess knowledge of database concepts and expertise in data manipulation techniques.

The Ideal Candidate

• A minimum of 2 years' similar experience, luxury retail a bonus.
• Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or any related analytical field.
• Experience with database management and reporting, and the applicable systems.
• Strong competency in SQL, Tableau and Power BI is a MUST; Proficiency in Python and Google Analytics is a an advantage.
• Technical experience and knowledge of database management, at least 1 years of experience in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Naturally curious, with a positive approach to all tasks.
