Job summary

New World Development Company Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced building maintenance supervisor to lead technical staff in operation, maintenance and works for building fabric, ensuring quality, reliability and safety.

You will provide technical support for tenant fit-outs, conduct regular audits of building fabric, review maintenance procedures and help manage procurement, contracts and budgets. Proficiency in English and Chinese is required.

Qualifications

• Good PC skills.
• Minimum 5 years' building maintenance experience, 2 years in supervisory role (commercial buildings preferred).
• Good command of English and Chinese (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical staff to operate, maintain and carry out works for building fabric, ensuring quality, reliability and safety.
• Provide technical support for building maintenance including tenant fit-out, reinstatement, minor alterations and modification works.
• Carry out regular audits of building fabric conditions and implement works to meet performance and quality standards.
• Review and improve maintenance procedures to ensure systems are well maintained with optimum resources.
• Assist procurement, manage contracts, projects/works and budgets; support related activities.
• Handle technical issues and works.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical staff to carry out operation, maintenance and works for building fabric to achieve an efficient, reliable and safe manner, ensuring that the required quality standards are achieved
• Provide technical support with respect to building maintenance aspects including tenant fitting out, reinstatement, minor alteration and modification work and advising technical comments
• Carry out regular audit of conditions of existing building fabrics and recommend and implement works to ensure that the required performance and quality standards are achieved
• Assist to perform regular review and recommendation of maintenance procedures to ensure that systems are being effectively maintained with optimum resources
• Support the arrangement of procurement, manage contracts, projects/works and activities. Assist to compile and manage budget
• Handle technical issues and works

Requirements

• Degree holder in building studies, building surveying or construction related discipline
• Minimum 5 years' experience in building maintenance, preferably in commercial building maintenance with 2 years at supervisory level-Good PC skills
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
